I got the three-piece fish and chips. Everything was fresh. You could tell they use fresh oil the fish was golden. Also fries were golden. The taste brought me back to my childhood with Melroy’s fish and chips on Gratiot at 9 mile. If you’re in the area, you must try it.

This place is lovely and probably has the best prices and array of fish and chips, also offering shrimp and chips - and sides such as soup or coleslaw to some dishes. I will definitely be coming back here as a fan of the casual diner, and a fan of fish and chips! I will certainly be eating in next time but I can attest to the quality and cleanliness of the diner-like establishment.

Little place tucked into a strip center just off I-94 on Harper. One man running the place on a Monday at noon. Had the local news on the TV in the corner. (I'm a news junkie so that's fine with me) Volume was a bit high but with the ambient sounds in the kitchen & his hearing issue, I'm not surprised. Got the 2 piece special which comes with fries (duh), coleslaw & a pair of hushpuppies. Fish was well cooked, hot but a little bland. Fries were unsalted (salt packets provided). Hushpuppies were very tasty, could've eaten a half dozen. Do wish the utensil wasn't a weak plastic fork. Made eating a bit of a chore. And the floor was sticky in some places.

Had a pick up order from here tonight. Great food and my husband said the owners were very friendly. Fish was flaky and fries were crispy. Will definitely be back!
